Welcome to the ELLE VersaTILE KAL 2020.
Our knitters asked, and we listened! We’re so excited to start a brand new KNIT-A-LONG with you!
With winter around the corner, what better time to not only start a fun project, but also assemble a stunning jacket to keep you warm as the days start to get colder.
We have designed a jacket, but these squares are so versatile that you can use them to create your own finished items – a throw, pillows, or even bags. Let your imagination run wild!
This KAL consists of 8 different stitch pattern squares with a total of 29 squares to knit. Squares will be released, one per week, with the first one going out on FRIDAY 26 JUNE 2020.
Want to receive the patterns straight to your email inbox? Remember to make sure that you’re signed up for our newsletter by clicking here.
To save on the sewing up time, instructions are also given to knit the squares into 7 panels of 3 blocks each and then the panels are joined together for the garment body. The sleeves are knitted in the same manner. This will however hold you back on your knitting until the release of the next square but once all 8 patterns are launched, midway into 3rd panel, you can then continue as quickly or as slowly as you wish.
If you don’t want to wait, knit the number of squares indicated and you can sew them all together following the diagram which will be released at the end of this KAL series.
To make things a bit easier, we are also including videos for squares 1 to 7 so you can see how to work these stitch patterns.
