YOU WILL NEED

One pair recommended needle size for the yarn you are using

Cable needle

ABBREVIATIONS

k = knit; p = purl; rep = repeat; RSF = right side facing; st(s) = stitch(es)

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS

C3B = slip next st onto a cable needle and hold at back of work, k2sts from left hand needle, then k1 st from cable needle

C3F = slip next 2sts onto a cable needle and hold at front of work, k1 st from left hand needle, then k2sts from cable needle

C4B(F) = slip next 2sts onto a cable needle and hold at back(front) of work, k2sts from left hand needle, then k2sts from cable needle

January ’19 stitch of the month: Fan’ulous

 

YOU WILL NEED

One pair recommended needle size for the yarn you are using

 ABBREVIATIONS

k = knit; p = purl; rep = repeat; R(W)SF = right(wrong) side facing; st(s) = stitch(es); tog = together

 SPECIAL STITCH

Make fan = k1, insert needle in centre of next stitch 3 rows down, yarn over needle and pull up a loop, (k next stitch, pull up another loop as before in same hole) twice.
