YOU WILL NEED:

One pair recommended needle size for the yarn you are using

Cable needle

ABBREVIATIONS:

k = knit; p = purl; rep = repeat; RSF = right side facing; st(s) = stitch(es)

SPECIAL ABBREVIATION:

C4B(F) = slip next 2sts onto a cable needle and hold at back(front) of work, k2sts from left hand needle, then k2sts from cable needle

Multiple of 14sts:

1st row: RSF, k2, C4F, p2, (C4B, k4, C4F, p2) to last 6sts, C4B, k2.

2nd row: K2, p4, k2, (p4, k4, p4, k2) to last 6sts, p4, k2.

3rd row: K6, p2, (k12, p2) to last 6sts, k6.

4th row: As 2nd row.

5th row: As 3rd row.

6th row: As 2nd row.

7th row: K2, C4B, p2, (C4F, k4, C4B, p2) to last 6sts, C4F, k2.

8th row: As 2nd row.

9th row: As 3rd row.

10th row: As 2nd row.

11th row: As 3rd row.

12th row: As 2nd row.

Rep these 12 rows.
